SHE WON THE 5TH TIME!

It was a gathering of the 'Flourishians'.
A day that will live in our enlightened mind for so long a time.
If we are to obey the Gregorian calendar, the day was Friday November 17, 2017.

I wish you were there to see!
On the pulse of this great day, with utmost dedication to maximum satisfaction, something good happened.

Would you like to know? I will tell you, don't even blink your eyes but promise me that you won't tell anybody.

'Did I tell you that 'Talking Point' today was anchored on 'Hinduism'?
Did I also tell you that at the end of every TP presentation, three questions are given to students and the rule is the person that submits the first correct entry wins the day.

It's been like that since 2015.
But now, just some few weeks into the first term 2017 academic year, the duo of Mrs Akpabiekun and Mrs Olorundare, Flourish intellectuals and brain builders, came up with the most welcome idea that led to the introduction of consolation prizes into the Friday morning TP presentation.

It ddn't stop there, Mrs Olorundare started it all by donating some stationery and that put smiles on the faces of the first 5 consolation prize winners. But, we didn't stop there. Mrs Akpabiekun, Mr. Mustapha, and Mr. Sunday Olojumbo did the same in the weeks gone by.

On this particular day, a rare gem, the highly distinguished dean of Art, took it on himself to provide some more dignified stationery for the consolation prize winners and was highly applauded.

The Principal of FC, Mr. Sunday Aderinboye, was not left out in this as he took the center stage to commend the staff and students on the conduct of TP presentation.

The picture above is that of Orekoya Adedayo, the winner of the grand prize. She is a Library Prefect by definition and the House Leader of the Students' Parliament by extension. She's is also the Vice President of FC Press Club and the Editor of Flourish Broadcasting Service. She is multi-talented and commercially oriented. She's won the TP grand prize for 5 good times now.

Thanks for your visual patronage!

Long live FC!
God bless Nigeria!
